SUMMARY:Nature to Nurture - Cactus Trail
DESCRIPTION:These workshops are designed for adults to slow down\, refocus and recover. September 12th @ the Cactus Trails is an intermediate hike. \nRegistration is required and can be done here. \nThe session will include: \n\nA forest hike/run/walk depending on the group energy\n\n\nBodyweight strength\, mobility\, yoga in a calm outdoor setting\, and\n\n\nMeditation and focus time to reconnect within themselves\n\nThis workshop will also include Indigenous focus on traditional plants\, animals and medicines \nTo Bring: \n\nSmall backpack\nWater\nSmall Snack\nProper Footwear\nDress for the weather\n\nLeaders Laurie Cardinal and Brittany Mycock will be leading your hike\, followed by a yoga session and meditation. \nPlease expect the hike to take up anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. The yoga and meditation portion will take up around 30 mins. \nYou will receive a follow up email with the expected weather conditions and gear needed for the particular hike. \nDeparture times are on the time stated. We will not be waiting for people to arrive. We need to safely move as a group. Please be on time 🙂 \nNO PETS PLEASE. We understand you have an amazing pet…just sometimes pets don’t like each other. We will also be headed into some areas with deer\, rabbits\, and other wildlife. Although the leaders will make sure you are safe…a pet running after a deer for 2 hrs is fun for no one. \nBoth leaders will have bear spray and emergency locators. Both leaders are also certified in first aid.
