Imagination Library Receives Support!

We are very excited to announce that our Dolly Parton Imagination Library children’s book program has received significant support over the last month. This will allow it to continue without disruption into the fall and winter months. The recent support includes donations from:

  • Surerus $5,000
  • United Way of Northern BC $10,000
  • Micrtotel Inn & Suites $1,500
  • Urban Systems Foundation $3,000
  • Chopped Leaf $300

To date we have been able to distribute almost 15,000 books to our community and are so thankful to all those who have answered our call and helped us keep this program alive. The society is the regional affiliate for the program in Fort St. John and the North Peace, which deliver a book a month to registered kids in the first five years of their life. By the time they turn five, they’ll have 60 books in their library.
