Pembina Pipeline Donates $5,000!!

We would like to extend a BIG Thank You to Pembina Pipeline Corporation for their recent donation of $5,000 towards literacy programming in Fort St. John!

As well as an extra special Thank You from all the Nutritional Literacy-Cooking On A Budget participants. Pembina’s previous support, along with North Peace Secondary and Beccalicious Cooking made this program possible. We hope to offer again in the Spring of 2020.

 

New Year’s Eve 2020 Fundraiser – Tickets NOW On Sale!

Join us for an evening of entertainment and celebration as we ring in the New Year! 100% of the event proceeds will be directed to the Fort St. John Literacy Society to enhance and expand the FREE literacy programs offered to the community!

Entertainment starts at 9PM. There will be a 50/50 draw, as well as door prizes given away throughout the evening, as well as a midnight lunch and complimentary champagne toast.

This is a 19+ event

LGBTQ Youth Group

We are pleased to be providing space for the LGBTQ youth meetings starting this month! A fun & safe place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirited, queer or questioning teens in grades 7-12.

Cooking on a Budget Program a Big Success!

Thanks to Pembina Pipeline, Beccalicious Cooking and North Peace Secondary our Cooking on a Budget program was a big success!!

We plan to host another program in the Spring of 2020
Feeding your brain healthy nutrient rich foods is the first step to learning. This program will build and strengthen every day numeracy skills, financial understanding while promoting healthy eating habits.

Board Games & Brew

We will be partnering up with the Fort St. John Public Library to hold a monthly Board games & Brew night on the third Wednesday of each month at Mighty Peace Brewing Co. Hope to see you there!

Retro Run Raises $4,380!
